p class=”p1″>What results can I expect from Permanent hair reduction?
Ellipse IPL 2 is amongst the safest and most effective treatment on the market. Laser hair removal delivers great results, generally permanently reducing hair growth by between 75%-95%.
How does the treatment work?
By using a broad wavelength of light combined with a carefully selected pulse interval, the target hairs are selectively heated up and hair growth is destroyed. Treatments are performed at timely intervals in order to gain maximum results.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone responds differently to the treatment and it is also dependant on have other factors such as hormones for instance which can mean needing extra treatments but normally on average women will need 6-8 treatments whereas men will need 8-10 treatments allowing for hormonal differences.
Do I need a patch test?
Absolutely! We are not all the same, therefore it is critical that all safety measures have been taken beforehand. We would never start a treatment until we have carried out a thorough consultation and a patch test on each and every area you have decided to have treatment on.
Do I have to wait before I can start my hair removal treatments?
Yes you will need to wait between 24-48hrs after having your patch test and consultation
What conditions can I treat with IPL?

FACIAL THREAD VEIN REMOVAL

Great results can be achieved with this treatment, if you have spider veins or telangiectasias.

The treatment process works in a similar way to hair removal but the target for the light is chromospheres (what gives blood its colour). By heating up the tiny veins, the blood drys up and the vein is resealed deeper in the skin therefore giving a much more uniform appearance to your face.

What should I expect following a thread vein removal treatment?

For the next 5-7 days you should expect to be redder and you may get swelling in the treated area.  This is normal and part of the process, after that, you can expect a more uniformed colour to your skin. On rare occasions you may get a bruise which will disappear as we are working on the higher end of the therapeutic spectrum whilst treating thread veins.

Where can I have this treatment? 

Face and chest areas are most common and successful with this treatment.

Do I need a patch test?
Absolutely! We are not all the same, therefore it is critical that all safety measures have been taken beforehand. We would never start a treatment until we have carried out a thorough consultation and a patch test on the area you have decided to have treatment on.

Do I have to wait before I can start my hair removal treatments?

Yes you will need to wait 48 hrs after having your patch test and consultation.

How many treatments will  I need?

You will need 2-4 sessions one month apart.

Do I need to avoid anything whilst being treated?

What should I expect following a skin rejuvenation treatment?

Following a skin rejuvenation treatment,  you should expect areas with sun damage to become darker, and a slight crust may form, this will gradually flake off over the next 5-7 days before leaving the skin more uniform colour. Collagen and elastin are stimulated and pore size is reduced so overall your skin will have a greater texture and appearance to it.

How many treatments will  I need?

You will need 4-6 sessions one month apart.
